Revision:2011 Edition, February 4, 2011 Published Date:February 4, 2011 Status:Active, Most Current Document Language: Published By:Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) Page Count:11 ANSI Approved:No DoD Adopted:No
This document describes how Dolby® E audio codecs canbe used in conjunction with Television signals operating at framerates higher than 30 Hz. Because the Dolby E encoded audio data isnormally carried in an AES3 stream, wrapped per SMPTE ST 337, itmay be transported separately, or embedded in a video signal. Italso provides advice to equipment designers and manufacturers onthe requirements of associated equipment and to systems integratorsengaged in building complete systems.
